Alex & Molly's Engagement

Alex and Molly met while working at A Spoon Fulla Sugar. Alex was a decorator at his sister's bakery. Molly started working at the bakery as the Sales & Marketing Manager. Alex's sister Jen and her husband Mark, owners of the bakery, said the next girl they hired was going to be Alex's wife. Molly had no clue she was interviewing for two positions.

Alexis & Ryan Engagement Story

When school started up I was considered a non-traditional student. I was working on my fifth year and was no longer an athlete. I knew something was missing once my swimming career ended I just didn’t know what. This led to me going to church every Sunday and going to a lifegroup called FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) every Thursday night. Around October was when I first started to take interest in Ryan. The more I heard him speak at FCA and how passionate he was made me fall even harder for him. Once I became single things started to become more real, almost tod real. Shortly after we found out that I actually lived next door to him.

Allyson & Zach

So our story... Oh, where to begin. I met my fiancé (Zach) about 12 years ago. I was 10 and he was 11. Our birthday's are 1 year and 1 day apart, so every year our parents would always make us call each other to say happy birthday. In the sixth grade Zach's birthday party crashed my birthday party and I knew from then on he was something special. As the years went on we grew further and further apart but always though of one another as close family friends. We reconnected about 3 years ago when Zach invited me to be his date to his sisters wedding. From then on we went on many dates and grew so close! These past 3 years have by no means been perfect, but I wouldn't change one thing about it.

Candace & Rob

How we got engaged
To understand our engagement you have to know about the things that mean the most to Amanda. Born and raised as a small town girl, she likes the simpler things in life, and I love that about her. She has a great amount of pride in who she is and where she is from, another great characteristic that I love. I once took her on a date to Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse when we first started dating. After that dinner we saw a play about the east and west sides of Cincinnati. It was a small play in one of the smaller theaters at the Aronoff. Afterward, she told me she had a wonderful time, but she wanted me to know that she doesn't really like those big steak places, but really likes simpler places...

All you Need is Love… and an Umbrella

The time has come and we are ready to reveal the new cover of Bride & Groom Planner, compliments of Dolce Vita Photography. Congratulations to the beautiful couple and proud new parents, Ashley and David Schuckman, married on May 4, 2012. Upon browsing the thousands of wedding photos from our photographers we kept coming back to this beautiful shot thinking this is fresh, beautiful, pure, romantic, modern and eternal…. Everything you want captured all in one photo. The wedding ceremony was held in the Rose Garden of Ault Park which was a beautiful contrast to the blue bridesmaid’s dresses from David’s Bridal and a perfect compliment to the fresh hydrangea bouquet prepared by Mt. Washington Florist. The bride looked radiant in a stunning strapless gown from  David’s Bridal  and sash from Fabulous Bridal. Ashley chose ‘something blue’ heels that perfectly matched the wedding party. The men looked dapper in black traditional tuxedos from Folchi’s Formal Wear complimented with personalized cufflinks from etsy.

Bethany and Jesse Bamber, married on July 6, 2013. The wedding ceremony was held in the newest addition to the Manor House, The Carriage House, which was beautiful hardwood floors and wood beams providing a cabin rustic feel to their wedding. Bethany's dress was purchased from David's Bridal and customized with beaded embellishments handmade by herself and her mom. While it rained on and off that day it didn't dampen their spirits.... Bethany had cute flower rain boots on hand for just such an occasion. Jesse looked fantastic in his President Tuxedo tux, with the groomsmen in blue ties and vests to match the blue bridesmaid dresses. Their friends surprised the couple with a baton twirler entrance to the reception, a nod to Bethany's past. At the end of the evening an impromptu circle encased the couple on the dance floor as they danced romantically to the last song of the night followed by a giant group hug.

It was that time again for Bride & Groom Planner to select the cover bride for our winter edition! Upon browsing our collection of vendor’s photos we could not pass up the photo of Cincinnati’s own Katy Morgan and husband Tom posing in front of Cincinnati’s iconic landmark in Fountain Square.

The story about how the two met is truly a love story made through television. The couple met while working to build a brand new television station in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2008. Katy took the role as the morning meteorologist, and Tom as the behind the scene morning director. Their friendship quickly began to grow into something much more! After two years of dating, Katy was given the opportunity to move her career to Cincinnati’s own FOX19. An easy decision to relocate closer to family, the couple picked up and moved. Two weeks after moving in, on December 23rd, Tom and Katy were celebrating Christmas early to accommodate a news station work schedule. Tom pulled out the last present under the tree - a small box wrapped with Katy’s name on it. Inside was a beautiful engagement ring. As he got down on one knee to propose, Katy said YES!our collection of vendor’s photos we could not pass up the photo of Cincinnati’s own Katy Morgan and husband Tom posing in front of Cincinnati’s iconic landmark in Fountain Square.

Meet Carrie Masters Starts, cover girl for Bride & Groom Planner 2012. Carrie generously answered a few questions for us about the couple’s wedding day and the preparation it took to get there.

What love story is complete without the tale of how the couple met? Carrie and now husband, Jason, met on May 2nd, 2009 at the famous Kentucky Derby. Carrie is native to Northern Kentucky while Jason is from South Jersey. The group of girlfriends met the group of boys from New Jersey and it did not take long for Jason and Carrie to run away with each other’s hearts.

Almost a year after meeting, their engagement is a true example how a long distance relationship can turn into a magical night in Atlantic City. On March 13, 2010, Carrie took a half-day off work to catch a flight to Philadelphia at 2 pm so the two could spend the weekend in Atlantic City. However, Carrie’s flight was delayed…until 10 pm that night. When she finally arrived Philadelphia, she was in terrible spirits and her mind was made up that Atlantic City was no longer in the cards for the night.
