How many vendors do you work with? I have worked with a lot of vendors and do not charge extra for a bride to use an “outside vendor.” I currently have about 15 that I would consider my preferred vendors.
What sets you apart from others in your industry? I offer a very personal approach to planning. My brides have access to me 24/7 and I hope that they see me as a friend and not a paid resource.
What is your favorite part of your job? Anyone who has planned their own wedding knows that the help you think you are going to get from your friends and family is normally little disappointing. I consistently have brides who have issues getting their friends and families as interested in planning their wedding as they are. I genuinely love planning weddings. I love all of the details and spend a lot of time with my brides to make sure that we are on the same page. My main goal is to ensure that my bride has the experience she deserves.
What is your most memorable bride and/or wedding? That’s tough as they are all memorable. I planned a wedding for a couple that wanted to get married within 2 months of meeting with me. They had a small budget and a large guest list. It was a daunting task and a crazy couple of weeks, but in the end it was a BEAUTIFUL event. They were beyond pleased and I knew at that point that I could handle anything thrown at me.
Anything else you would like our readers to know about you or your business? We offer an in house design department that handles the creation of all mailings/programs/menus/place cards for no additional cost to the brides. We also offer a discounted printing price for these products. It’s a service that we feel further allows a bride to make her wedding truly her own. We are affiliated with an Etsy shop that specializes in elegant origami bouquets, decorations and gifts - I offer discounts to my brides.
