Incredible Endings only books two to three wedding cakes a weekend. This ensures each cake is given the special attention it deserves and the couple is happy with their selection. Generally, the best time to book a cake with Incredible Endings is between six months and a year. The cake will take two to three days to create and anywhere from three to four weeks to create the sugar or chocolate work. However, no final information about the cake design is needed until one month before the wedding. This gives clients and company plenty of time to think and collaborate.
Harvey states, “I price my cakes as simply as I can.” Cakes are $3.75 per serving which includes the option of different flavors of cake and filling for each layer. Fresh flowers, chocolate work, or sugar work are an additional cost. Harvey also decorates the top of the table around the cake on the big day to finish the look of the centerpiece. A bonus of booking with Incredible Endings would be the complimentary fresh one-year Anniversary cake for couple’s that hosted a wedding that served at least 100 hungry guests.
Harvey has some advice when it comes to picking out a cake and cake flavor, “Choose flavors you will enjoy, but also choose flavors for your guest’s as well.” She believes the wedding cake should be as unique as the couple she’s creating it for. Most memorable cakes have included The Roman Coliseum, a stack of pumpkins, and a gold and pink Russian Faberge Egg. When ordering a cake, Harvey advises to look at more than just cakes to get ideas for your cake design. Invitations and the wedding dress are great places to start, but you don’t have to stop there.
